Things Rudy Miller Does Do
--Escape from summer camp

Because there really couldn't be a more perfect or fitting end to Rudy Miller's run in polychromatic than by letting him escape home during a summer camp curse, and doubly so when his triumphant departure will be discovered on none other than Canada Day.

Thus, as of last night, he and Mike have vacated the City (leaving behind a few mementos in memory of their stay) and returned home to Camp Algonkian Island to suffer through one day of hard labour, meet and greet with their families the day after on Visiting Day, and summarily destroy their summer camp with the help of a highly diligent beaver.

And...nobody really gets anything left from him because Rudy is not the type to say goodbye, but he is the type to make contingency plans. The revenues from his shares in Cinna's salon will go into a secure account in the bank left in his and Mike's names, just in case they someday make good on their threat to come back for a second round; his share of the Palace reverts to Billy and Tamaki, the other caretakers. And he's leaving basically all of his tapes, possessions, and other assorted modern conveniences he's collected during his stay, with one exception: His Imperial Majesty Alexander of Macedonia is going with him. Because Rudy doesn't leave his people behind.

It's been fun, Polyites. Enough to make even Rudy Miller almost crack a smile. ♥
